Food Challenge Update

Good morning to everyone. Yesterday was the first full day of the 10 Day Real Food Challenge.

How did your day go? From those of you completing the food challenge, I would love to hear what you are learning. What is easy, difficult, surprising, etc? For those of you who have chosen to wait for a later date, what do you anticipate being difficult? I will use these comments to guide future posts and help us all through the world of real foods!

My day went smoothly. I had pre-made many of my meals and didn’t have to think about what to eat at all. I actually spent most of the day learning the art of yogurt making, which I will be sharing with you later today. I then spent the better part of the evening trying to decide what to do with all of this yogurt. (I welcome any suggestions.)

    I’m on day 5 of my challenge and it’s going GREAT!!! As you know, I am a very picky eater and I’m just LOVING this challenge. I don’t even see it as a challenge. I can’t say that I’ve ever read ingredients labels before. It’s eye opening!!! I guess I always thought if it was low fat or nonfat it was good to eat. Not the case at all. It has really turned me into a new direction when choosing what I eat. I also feel healthier. Healthier = Happier!!

      I’m glad you are enjoying the challenge so much! I think it is such a great way to jump start a healthier 2012 and maybe make some lifestyle changes along the way! Thanks for sharing.
