Real Food Challenge Week 2

We are about half way through our 10 Day Real Food Challenge. I didn’t stick with the plan very well on Saturday when I went out to lunch, but I’m back to menu planning and determined to make it through the last 6 days!

When beginning the challenge last week, I shared some food ideas. This week I have been digging through my cabinets to see what I want to get rid of before the move. I have a few cans of coconut milk, several bags of frozen veggies, and quite a bit of fruit around the house. Before I can buy more I need to get through what we have in the house now. This is reflected in my menu plan for the week.

Below is my menu plan for the week:

This week’s grocery list is as follows:

Avocados

Flour

Cheese

Ground Chicken

Milk

Peanut Butter

Spices: Curry, Cayenne, Chili, Bay Leaves

 

I know this is a short list, but I really need to work my way through the things we have.

How is everyone feeling now that we are about halfway through? Has anyone found any good recipes over the last week?

    I have two full days left and I’m feeling GREAT!! This will be my new way of eating. :) I’ll keep some wiggle room for special occasions, but I’m planning to stick with “real eating”. I just love making everything from scratch. Today is bread making day. Yum ~ Yum. Thanks for turning me on to this.
