Laundry and all laundry related tasks are my least favorite chores. And yesterday, I had the pleasure of cleaning 2 weeks worth of dirties that we had successfully neglected.
I’ve shared before that I make my own laundry soap (look here for details). But sometimes laundry detergent isn’t enough for those really tough loads…like the ones that have accumulated on the floor of your closet for multiple weeks.
For those jobs, I use a super quick and easy laundry booster along with my usual detergent. It works equally well with the grimy clothes that have picked up lots of dirt or the loads of whites you’d like to see come out bright.
- ¼ cup Washing Soda
- ¼ cup Baking Soda
- ½ cup Hydrogen Peroxide
- Combine all ingredients together just before beginning load.
- Pour into washer as it is filling.
- Allow the washing machine to go through its usual cycle.
